1. What is the Ashes Register?
The Ashes Register is an online database for recording the final resting places of the deceased.

2. How long will entries stay on the register?
Entries made in the register will stay on indefinitely or until you remove them.

3. How much does it cost?
Basic entries in the Ashes Register are free. You can add details of as many people as you like totally free of charge. Searching the register is also completely free.
There is a small fee (currently Ł9.95) for uploading pictures. We levy this charge to cover our hosting costs. The fee is a one-off charge and allows you to post up to 10 pictures which we will host indefinitely.

4. Can I use my picture allocation across more than one entry?
Yes. You can use your picture allocation across as many entries as you wish.

5. Can I purchase extra picture space?
Yes. You can purchase extra picture space at any time.

6. Why do I have to get a password from you to upload data?
This is to help prevent people making malevolent or fraudulent entries in the register.

7. Will you give my email address to anyone else?
No. We will never pass on your email address to any other party.
